India’s Journey from Dreams to the Stars

This celebration honors a major milestone in India’s space journey.

  • About Aryabhata

    Aryabhata was built by ISRO and launched by the Soviet Union using a Kosmos-3M rocket from Russia. It was named after the ancient Indian mathematician and astronomer Aryabhata.

  • Purpose of the satellite

    It was mainly meant for conducting experiments in X-ray astronomy, solar physics, and aeronomy (study of the upper atmosphere).

  • Importance of Golden Jubilee:

    The 50th anniversary celebrates how Aryabhata marked the beginning of India’s self-reliance in space technology. It shows the journey from launching a small satellite to building big missions like Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and Gaganyaan.

    • Space science competitions for students.
    • Special documentaries and publications about Aryabhata and India's space achievements.

A Tribute to Aryabhata by Erudite Space Education

As part of the Aryabhata Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Erudite Space Education organized an inter-house competition in schools to promote awareness about space activities developed in India.

All participating schools received a Participation Recognition Certificate facilitated by ISRO.

The top three children from each category were awarded Achievers’ Certificates for their outstanding performance.

Competitions were conducted in three categories, and students actively participated with great enthusiasm.

This initiative successfully inspired young minds to learn more about India’s achievements in space science and technology.
